SEO Tricks Which Can Add Value
If you are writing good content and including the keywords which will make your site rank high in the search engines, then you are on your way to having success with Search Engine Optimization. Of course, this is not the full story, and it is worth bearing in mind one fact – you could probably be doing something more. Now, this is not a telling off or an insult, simply a fact. There is a lot to do when it comes to SEO, and few of us do it all. This doesn’t mean that we will end up falling off the top page – but if we want to creep a bit further up there are always a few tricks.
First of all, you probably have the keywords in your title text and in your links, but have you thought about the keywords in the body text of your content? The chances are that you, like so many other good SEO writers, have missed a trick. If you simply italicise, embolden or underline at least some of your keyword usage, it pleases the spiders and will raise your site that bit further in their estimation.
Another place to position keywords is in your file names. If you have photos on your website, then simply use the keywords when titling those files before uploading them. If you do not have photos on your website, look at adding a few and using your keywords to title them. All of this attracts search engines and will boost your ranking. Of course, the photos need to be relevant. If they are simply obtrusive, they will annoy people and you will get fewer return visits – which will see you drop down the rankings whatever else you do.
